On September 1, 2023, SMR welcomed Gerry Cuttler, K.C. and Michael Steinbach to the partnership.
Gerry joins SMR after practicing at various firms since being called to the bar in 1983. He founded Cuttler & Company in 2011 and practiced there until joining SMR. Gerry regularly acts as counsel in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes and has extensive Chambers, trial and appellate experience.
Michael was called to the bar in 2010 and joins SMR from a boutique litigation firm. Michael will expand his commercial litigation practice at SMR and will continue to work with companies, shareholders, creditors and estates in a variety of disputes.
Gerry and Michael each also bring their expertise in administrative law, including matters of professional regulation, to complement SMR’s existing practice in this area.
