Riley is a dedicated advocate who practices in a diverse range of civil and commercial litigation, as well as matters of administrative law and professional regulation.
Riley joined the firm after clerking at the Federal Court and articling with the British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General, where she gained experience in public law, civil litigation, and administrative law. She has appeared before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
As an Associate at SMR, Riley approaches her work with compassion, understanding and motivation to resolve client concerns in a principled and practical manner. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her bike, playing tennis, and doting on her cat.
