We have broad experience representing clients in disputes pertaining to Wills, Estates and various kinds of trusts. Our areas of expertise in Wills and Estates include the following:

  • Court actions to interpret Will provisions, both for trustees and beneficiaries
  • Will validity challenges before the Courts, whether seeking to have a Will set aside entirely on the ground of testamentary incapacity or as a result of undue influence exercised against the deceased
  • Changes to a Will’s terms under the Wills Variation Act of British Columbia
  • Revocation of Will probate on the basis, for example, that a particular legal heir had not been notified of the probate process

We also have expertise in various types of trust-related cases, including those involving the question whether a trust exists, the proper interpretation of a trust deed or whether a breach of trust has occurred.
