Mike Shirreff is an associate with Sugden, McFee & Roos LLP. He has a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on commercial matters including professional liability actions, contract disputes, product liability claims, construction disputes and securities litigation. Mike also maintains an active personal injury practice, acting exclusively on behalf of plaintiffs.
In addition, he has also been counsel in a variety of criminal matters on behalf of both the Crown and accused.
Mike has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia.

British Columbia v. Imperial Tobacco, [2008] BCJ No. 609 (SC); appeal granted at [2009] BCJ No. 2444 (CA)
- Counsel for the Crown with respect to appeal proceedings arising from a historic conviction
- Acted on behalf of a woman seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident

- Successfully defended a chartered accountant in a lengthy professional negligence action
